Hey everyone, the much anticipated IESS Poker Night is just around the corner! It’s time to put on that poker face and stand a chance to win awesome prizes! Don’t want to put up with the pressure of playing? No worries, you can come at your own leisure for FREE to watch the poker matches and stand a chance to win prizes through raffle!
Here are the details:

* Time and location: Will be held on the 7th of September at Prince Alfred’s, located on 191 Grattan Street (Bouverie Street) from 7.30 pm till LATE.
* Ticket prices for those that wish to participate in the poker competition: $20 for non-members, $15 for members. Registrations will be open so join the club to get a cheaper price! Tickets are limited so it’s first come, first serve. For those that are not interested in participating in the competition, admission is FREE.
* Those participating in the competition (those with a ticket) will be entitled to ONE FREE DRINK from the bar.
* Format of the competition: Consists of 2 rounds. In the Round 1, a table of 8 competitors will compete with each other and the winner of each table (there will be 8 tables) will advance to Round 2. The winner of Round 2 will be the grand winner of the competition. Snacks will be provided during the break between Round 1 and Round 2.
* Prizes: Winners of round 1 will win a pair of MONOPRICE 8320 EARPHONES; the winner of round 2 will win the grand prize: a 16GB iPOD NANO. (Not sure what an iPod Nano is? Well here you go: http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/ )
* Other prizes: ONE 1TB WD HARD DRIVE, 1 JB HI-FI VOUCHER, 1 MYER VOUCHER and MOVIE TICKETS can be won through raffle. The raffle ticket will be priced at $1. The more you buy, the higher your chances of winning!

That’s all folks, plain and simple. To purchase your tickets, drop by the IESS booth in Union House from 12pm to 2pm. We will be open from Monday to Friday.
